Luke 8:16-18
16 “No one, after lighting a lamp, covers it with a basket or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in may see its light. 17 For nothing is concealed that won’t be revealed, and nothing hidden that won’t be made known and brought to light. 18 Therefore, take care how you listen. For whoever has, more will be given to him; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him.”
These verses took a different direction of meaning for me today. Over the past few years, I have been called a conspiracy theorist and a ‘flat earther.’ I watched the documentary ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon’ and realized the moon landing was faked. There’s a song with lyrics that say ‘Space may be from a final frontier, but It’s made in a Hollywood basement.’ These lyrics speak truth.
About that time, I was studying Joshua and in chapter 10, verses 12-14, tell the story of Joshua requesting that God stop the sun and moon to extend the battle time against the Amorites. Stop the sun and moon??? They move?? Why did He not just tell the earth to stand still??? Because the sun moves, the moon moves, but the earth stands still. How many times does the Bible say that earth is established, stands firm, and does not move. From this realization to discovering biblical cosmology, I have been AMAZED! I am overcome by sadness that people are asleep and will not even look into this.
NASA faked the moon landing, photoshopped the blue marble earth, and they have caused Bible-believing Christians trade the Word of God for a lie. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. NASA shows pictures. The Words of God must be read. The pictures, although fake, win out. Pictures are evidence. Even Bible scholars will attempt to make God’s creation fit on a round ball. It will not fit. Jesus said in Matthew 24:24 ‘For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.’ The elect have taken lies as truth. Proverbs 18:13 says “The one who gives an answer before he listens–this is foolishness and disgrace for him.” The current status of the ‘elect,’ I would call ‘fooled.’
I think that people whose eyes are opening…being ‘awakened,’ are actually receiving a light that must not be hid under a basket or stuck in a closet. Once you get to the place of realizing TRUTH, you can’t seem to quit talking about it. Don’t think that people are obsessed; it is with compassion that we seek to wake people up. There are so many things in God’s Word that come to life just seeing His earth as He created it. I seek more knowledge of Him…in this beautiful, dome-covered earth and in His Word.
