I have two accounts on Facebook. One is personal as Patricia Reed, the other for work as Patti Reed. Both pages were flooded today with birthday wishes. I always feel bad when so many people acknowledge my birthday when I fall so short of wishing people well on their birthdays. I know people are busy, so I can’t use that as an excuse. I definitely am honored today.
I have heard it said that everyone you meet becomes part of who you are. I was reminded of many of my parts today. I share some kind of experience, maybe just a moment in time, with each of these people. I have not met a lot of the people that honored me today. Phone calls pertaining to seed shipments or inventory may be all the connection we have, but nevertheless, these life episodes are part of me.
I thank each and every one of you for making my day special.
