Hydrangea…my favorite flower.
I believe that a hydrangea, especially the light blue ones, should be called the Southern Hedge. I remember my maternal grandparents’ home in Hodge, Louisiana, always having them blooming along the side of the house. These big, magnificent blooms were around the houses of all my great aunts.
As I have seen, from Hodge, Louisiana, to Crossett and then Wright, Arkansas, these floral wonders grow everywhere. If only I could get them to grow for me. I would have all colors!
